Offset Press Operator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The primary objective is to ensure efficient production while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate offset printing presses according to job specifications.
• Monitor the printing process and make adjustments to ensure high-quality output.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct inspections of printed materials to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain proper ink levels and adjust ink fountains as needed.
• Manage the registration of printing plates to ensure accurate printing.
• Keep the pressroom organized and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Offset Press Operator or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of offset printing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with printing machine operation and pressroom equipment.
• Understanding of ink chemistry and its application in printing.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and lubrication of machinery.
• Experience with Ryobi 520 GX 4 color and Ryobi 520 GE 2 color presses is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect printed work for quality.
